Sarah Touey, PE

With nearly two decades of experience in civil and transportation engineering, Sarah Touey is a highly regarded leader in delivering large-scale transit and infrastructure projects. She holds both DBE and WBE certifications in Washington and Oregon and is a licensed Professional Engineer in both states.

Sarah’s transit career began with TriMet, managing critical upgrades to the MAX Light Rail system as the engineer within Maintenance of Way. After 4 years of managing State of Good Repair projects, she was nominated as one of Progressive Railroading Magazine's "Rising Stars" in 2017. She then moved to private consulting shortly thereafter, where she was the Deputy Project Manager for the Preliminary Engineering Phase on A Better Red, a transformative light rail project that double-tracked two areas of single-track and extended the existing Red Line alignment to Fair Complex in Hillsboro.   Sarah has since held an integral position of major capital improvement projects within the region that includes, but is not limited to: ​
